On Dec 22, during the game between Blind River Beavers and Soo Thunderbirds, a raffle draw was held for a $1000 prize by Beavers Captain Newkirk . The winner was a Blind River resident. Profits from the draw go towards covering players expenses during the season.
The Blind River Beavers organization wishes to thank everyone for their support of this fundraising.It was a sell-out success.
