Eskis’ Bowditch commits to NCAA D-III Elmira

IROQUOIS FALLS, Ont. – The Iroquois Falls Eskis of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League has announced that forward Tanner Bowditch has committed to attend Elmira College in upstate New York and play NCAA D-III hockey for the Soaring Eagles men’s program in the fall.

A native of Uxbridge, Ont., the 20-year-old Bowditch, finished third in overall offensive production with Iroquois Falls in 2015-16 registering 43 points on 16 goals and 27 assists in 53 games played.

Five of the tallies produced by the forward came via the power play and he also chipped in with a pair of game-winning markers.

A veteran of 95 NOJHL contests, Bowditch totalled 30 goals and helped set-up 44 more in his time in the league.

Based in Elmira, N.Y., the Soaring Eagles compete out of the ECAC Men’s West conference.
