IROQUOIS FALLS, Ont. – Dillan Bruce tallied twice while David Osborne and Damon Lemmon had a goal and two assists each to help lead the Iroquois Falls Eskis to a 6-1 win over the French River Rapids in a Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League game held Saturday at Jus Jordan Arena.

Osborne’s team-leading 12th of the campaign put the Eskis in front 77 seconds into the contest.

Nathan Avery then made it 2-0 at 2:33 as the home side enjoyed a quick start.

Heading into the second period, Iroquois Falls added three more markers to take control on a pair by Bruce as well as a single from Jack Speer.

French River picked up their lone goal of the night thanks to Brennan Kelly’s power play effort at 2:11 of the third.

Lemmon added one shorthanded for the Eskis with 9:36 to go to round out the night’s scoring.

Shadow Reuben picked up a couple of assists for the winning side.

Shots on net favoured Iroquois Falls 38-31 with Josh Horner picking up the win.

Kyle Martelle started for the Rapids and suffered the loss playing two periods seeing 28 shots.

Alec St. Georges turned aside nine of 10 in relief.
