Leroux crowned NOJHL scoring champion for 2012-13 season

SUDBURY — The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League announced Wednesday the confirmation of Sudbury Nickel Barons forward Sebastien Leroux being crowned the winner of the Jimmy Connors Memorial Award, which goes annually to the NOJHL scoring champion.

A first team NOJHL all-star team award recipient at right wing, Leroux was an offensive force for the Nickel Barons all season leading both Sudbury and the NOJHL in total points with 82. He also led the league in point-per-game average at 1.86.

This marks the second consecutive season and sixth in the past decade a Sudbury player has finished the regular season as the leading overall point producer.
