ELLIOT LAKE – The Sudbury Nickel Barons scored three unanswered third period goals to pull out a 5-2 victory over the Elliot Lake Bobcats in Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League play Sunday evening.

The hometown Bobcats notched the lone tally of the opening stanza late as Aviv Milner found the mark at 19:01.

Sudbury responded in the second with a pair of markers from Austin Veleke and Dylan Callaghan to go up 2-1 only to see James Vuillemot level the proceedings with less than three minutes to go in the middle frame.

Bradley Bell then notched the game-winner with 13:52 to go in regulation to put the Nickel Barons up for good.
