Broken water pipe in Blind River causes postponement of Beavers – Nickel Barons game

BLIND RIVER – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League announced Saturday that tonight’s game at the Blind River Community Centre between the Sudbury Nickel Barons and host Blind River Beavers have been postponed due to a broken main water pipe in the Town of Blind River, likely caused due to the recent frigid tempeatures.

The game has tentatively been rescheduled for tomorrow afternoon at 4 p.m. (Sunday, Feb. 22) back in Blind River.

The start of the contest will be dependent on whether the repairs on the ruptured water pipe have been completed in time in the community.

The NOJHL apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused.
