CALGARY, Alta. – As we near mid-November the Brooks Bandits (AJHL) continue to impress as they continue to hold down the No. 1 slot in the latest Canadian Junior Hockey League’s Top 20 weekly rankings, released Monday.
Brooks is 19-2 on the season and have won five straight and are 18-1 since a season-opening setback.
In moving to No. 2 nationally, the Oakville Blades (OJHL) boast a 19-2-1-1record and are a solid 12-1-1-1 in their past 15 outings.
The Brockville Braves (CCHL) are playing well over .800 hockey in keeping their No. 3 ranking while having gone 18-4-0-0 to date.
With a 19-3-0-3 mark, the North York Rangers (OJHL) also remain among the nation’s elite at No. 4 while the No. 5 Thunder Bay North Stars (SIJHL) have soared to a 14-1-1 start to the 2018-19 campaign.
The weekly CJHL listings are compiled by an independent scouting service which uses a variety of factors to determine the rankings.
