Cochrane submits application to relocate franchise to Iroquois Falls

SUDBURY, Ont. – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League announced Saturday that they have received an application from its current member, the Cochrane Crunch, to relocate its franchise to Iroquois Falls, Ont., with the intention of playing all its home games there, at Jus Jordan Arena, in time for the 2023-24 season.

“The NOJHL has received a formal request from the Cochrane Crunch, to relocate their franchise from the Town of Cochrane to the Town of Iroquois Falls,” stated NOJHL commissioner Robert Mazzuca.

“As per league regulations, the official application will be submitted, in due course, to the NOJHL Board of Directors for consideration and determination,” added Mazzuca.

Further information on the process will be announced by the NOJHL once it has been finalized.
