TORONTO – As the ECHL wrapped up their 2023-24 season earlier this month, it concluded a campaign that featured significant contributions from Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) alumni.
In all, 161 former CJHLers saw action with ECHL clubs along the way.
Seven of those alumnus suited up with the ECHL Kelly Cup-champion Florida Everblades at various points of the season.
Each team in the league had at least one past CJHL player in their line-ups, with 20 of them featuring five-plus players competing for them.
Pacing that group were the Rapid City Rush, who featured 14 CJHL alums in 2023-24.
An updated list of alumni who played at higher levels this season includes:
NHL: 71
AHL: 78
ECHL: 161
