Green overtakes White in Voodoos intersquad game

POWASSAN, Ont. –– Former Midget AAA Trappers forward Nathan McLeod scored three times to lead Team Green to a 7-2 victory over Team White in the Powassan Voodoos first ever Green and White Intersquad game at the Powassan Sportsplex on Monday afternoon.  

Ex-Abitibi Eskimos forward Aaron Sullivan scored twice for Team Green, while singles came off the sticks of Carter Forth and Tyler Gervais-Rolfe.   

North Bay products Andrew DeMarco and Bo Peltier replied for Team White in the loss, each scoring in the first period.  

The Voodoos will play their first-ever game in team history on Wednesday afternoon when they entertain the Cochrane Crunch in NOJHL preseason action.  

Puck drop is set for 2 p.m. at the Powassan Sportsplex.
