NOJHL announces Soo Eagles – Espanola Express quarter-final series schedule

SUDBURY, Ont. – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League announced Sunday the game schedule for its upcoming first-round West Division playoff match-up between the No. 4 seeded Soo Eagles and the No. 5 Espanola Express.

This best-of-three affair will commence Wednesday, March 4 with a 7 p.m. start at Pullar Stadium in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.

Game No. 2 is slated for Friday, March 6 at the Regional Recreation Complex in Espanola with the opening face-off in that one slated for 7:30 p.m.

Should the series go the distance, a third and deciding game will be held Saturday, March 7 back in the Soo at 7 p.m.

Awaiting the winner of this match-up will be the the Rayside-Balfour Canadians in a best-of-seven West semifinal.

The other West series will feature the Blind River Beavers taking on the Soo Thunderbirds, with those schedules, as well as the East Division match-ups, being announced by the league once they are finalized.
