NOJHL announces start time changes for Game 2 & 4 of league final

SUDBURY – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League announced Monday that the start times for Games 2 & 4 of the Copeland Cup – McNamara Trophy championship series between the Soo Thunderbirds and Cochrane Crunch have been changed.

Both of those contests will now get underway at 7:30 p.m. matching the start times of Game 1 & 3 in the series.

The best-of-seven NOJHL final will commence Saturday at Essar Centre in Sault Ste. Marie with the opening face-off scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

The remaining three games in the NOJHL final, if necessary, have yet to be finalized as open dates at Essar Centre are dependent on the second round schedule of the Ontario Hockey League’s Soo Greyhounds, which is still being completed.

The NOJHL will announce the dates and times of the final three games of the Copeland Cup – McNamara Trophy league championship series once they are finalized.

Once a NOJHL champion is decided, that team will advance to the Dudley-Hewitt Cup Central Canadian Junior A championship April 28 through May 2 in Fort Frances, Ont.
