SUDBURY –- The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League announced Friday that Ted Magee has been appointed to the newly created position of Executive Director, effective immediately.

He joins the NOJHL after spending nearly three seasons with the Ontario Junior Hockey League as their Deputy Director.

Prior to that he had a four-year run as general manager of the Huntsville Otters Jr. A club.

Magee will be responsible for overseeing and approving all league transactions that take place as well as head up the leagues’ anti-doping and concussion programs along with other league instituted policies.

“The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League has secured the services of an individual who makes our league better,” stated Mazzuca.

“I’m really excited about my new position with the NOJHL and look forward to working with the league and their future goals,” he offered.

“Seeing the positive efforts put for forth by Commissioner Mazzuca, Hector Seguin, the board of governors and the league member clubs, I really like the direction the NOJHL is heading. I look forward to being part of it.”
