TIMMINS, Ont. – The Timmins Rock stormed out to a four-goal first period lead and never looked back as they handled the Iroquois Falls Eskis 8-1 Wednesday in Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League play at McIntyre Arena.

The contest was scoreless for the opening 10 minutes before Timmins tacked on four tallies in the second half to take control.

Zachary Kercz scored of the power play midway through the session before Jordan Rendle added one at even strength 1:51 later.

The Rock kept coming as Devin Panzeca made it 3-0 at 16:34 before Tyler Romain capped off the offensive outburst two minutes after that with a man advantage effort.

Levis and Salesse both doled out two assists apiece for Timmins.
