SUDBURY, Ont. – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League released Monday the dates and times for its upcoming East Division final between the Timmins Rock and Powassan Voodoos.
This best-of-seven match-up will feature 7 p.m. start times for each of the contests.
Game 1 goes Thursday at McIntyre Arena im Timmins, with the Rock also hosting Game 2 Friday, back at ‘The Mac.’
Next will be Game 3, which is slated for Sunday at the Powassan Sportsplex.
The Voodoos will also serve as the home team for Game 4, on Tuesday, April 11.
If a fifth contest is needed, it will be played in Timmins on Wednesday, April 12.
Should a sixth game be necessary, it will be held at the Powassan Sportsplex on Saturday, April 15.
Then if the series goes the distance, Game 7 will be held on Tuesday, April 18 at McIntyre Arena.
The East Division winner will then meet either the Greater Sudbury Cubs or the Soo Thunderbirds for the NOJHL Championship, with a berth on the line there to the Centennial Cup, May 11-21, in Portage la Prairie, Man.
All NOJHL playoff games will be streamed online via HockeyTV.com.
