Schedule for Abitibi – Elliot Lake playoff series announced
SUDBURY – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League announced today that the schedule for the upcoming quarter-final playoff series between the Abitibi Eskimos and Elliot Lake Bobcats has been confirmed.
This best-of-seven affair will get under Friday, March 14 and Saturday, March 15 with games 1 and 2 at Jus Jordan Arena in Iroquois Falls.
From there the scene will shift to Centennial Arena in Elliot Lake for games 3 and 4 on March 20-21.
Should it be necessary the series will head back to Iroquois Falls for game 5 on March 23.
Game 6, if needed, will be played one night later, March 24, in Elliot Lake.
Should a seventh and deciding contest be required to determine a winner, that match-up will be held Wednesday, March 26 at Jus Jordan Arena.
Each game in the series features 7:30 p.m. starts.
