Trappers announce the addition of local businessman to management team

The North Bay Trappers Junior ‘A’ Hockey Club are very excited to introduce David Beauchamp as the organizations first ever Director of Community Building & Relations.

Club Chairman Tim Clayden stated, “when a current sponsor of the Hockey Club and local business man and long time hometown North Bay resident offers to enthusiastically jump in and lend his time and business experience to the Central Canadian Championships this spring and offers to help keep the Trappers here in North Bay moving forward while operating out of the West Ferris Arena next season, it really does give our entire organization new life and an energetic shot in the arm.  The Trappers Jr. ‘A’ Hockey Club are pretty good and even better today with David Beauchamp involved”.

Beauchamp is the current owner of Pizza Pizza on Main Street in downtown North Bay.  This young entrepreneur is responsible for building Trappers community relationships throughout North Bay and the surrounding area while promoting the Central Canadian Championships this spring in North Bay along with the marketing of Dudley Hewitt Cup game ticket packages.

The Widdifield Senior Secondary graduate will also play a crucial role in helping the Trappers with the transition of the franchise moving into their new home at the West Ferris arena.

“I am extremely excited to be apart of the North Bay Trappers organization and Central Canadian Championship event team, I look forward to helping the Trappers market this great event while here in our City of North Bay”, said the Community Captain.  “I believe in Trappers Junior ‘A’ hockey here in North Bay and very much look forward to helping the Trappers in their transition to the West Ferris Arena while becoming a solid West Ferris community foundation member.  We want to keep Junior A hockey alive in North Bay and give more local kids a chance to play at a high caliber level of NOJHL junior ‘A’ hockey”, said Beauchamp.

Jr. Trappers President Chris Dawson is excited to have Beauchamp’s youthful enthusiasm join the Trappers front office team.  “It is great to see a successful young entrepreneur like David jump on board to help continue to build our organization within the City of North Bay”, said the Club President.  “David has grown up playing minor hockey from novice to midget here in North Bay and we feel that connection along with his strong business contacts make David Beauchamp a perfect fit for this newly appointed position.  We very much welcom David to our hockey program and the Trappers Jr. family”.
