Scott Sirkka scored the overtime winner with 35 seconds left in 3 on 3 OT as the Sudbury Nickel Barons defeated the North Bay Jr. Trappers 4-3.
However, the Jr Trappers scored 2 goals in the final 3 minutes of play including the tying goal by Brandon Janke on a penalty shot with 21 seconds left in regulation.
Janke and Justin Schneeberger had the other Jr. Trappers who fall to 4-0-1-1 on the season.
The Trappers are back on the ice Saturday night as they head north to play the Abitibi Eskimos.
