USPORTS hockey programs featured 612 CJHL alumni competing in 2025-26, including 43 from NOJHL

TORONTO – A vast multitude of Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) alumni took part in the Canadian university ranks during the 2025-26 season.

In all, the numbers featured 612 CJHL alumni who competed in USPORTS men’s hockey programs over the recently completed campaign.

That is an increase of 82 from the 530 who appeared with USPORTS teams in 2024-25.

Each of the nine CJHL-member leagues have a minimum of 15 alumni, who played USPORTS men’s hockey this season, while each of the 35 schools across the country featured multiple CJHL alumnus on their respective rosters.

Of that group, nine skated with the national champion UQTR Patriotes and 19 were on the silver-medal winning line-up from St. Mary’s University.

Meanwhile another 11 CJHL alums played for the University of New Brunswick, who claimed bronze.
