Venue change for Friday’s Thunderbirds – Rock game

SUDBURY, Ont. – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League has announced a venue change for this Friday’s contest, Sept. 18, between the Soo Thunderbirds and Timmins Rock.

Originally scheduled to be played at the John Rhodes Community Centre, the game will now be held at Essar Centre in Sault Ste. Marie at the regularly slotted time of 7:30 p.m.

Meanwhile NOJHL game action resumes tonight on three fronts.

The Thunderbirds will host the Blind River Beavers at Essar Centre starting at 7 p.m. while the French River Rapids entertain the Rayside-Balfour Canadians at Noelville Arena at 7:30 p.m. and the Iroquois Falls Eskis welcome the Timmins Rock in a 7:30 p.m. start at Jus Jordan Arena.
