Voodoos start season ticket drive Thursday

POWASSAN — The Powassan Voodoos will start their season ticket drive on Thursday.   

The expansion Northerm Ontario Junior Hockey League squad, which is an affiliate of the Ontario Hockey League’s North Bay Battalion, will play 26 regular season games at the Powassan Sportsplex in the 2014-15 season.

The organization will begin selling its season tickets at the Powassan Town Hall starting on Thursday, July 17.   

Ticket packages can be purchased (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) during normal business hours at the Town Hall located on Main Street in Powassan.  

Season Tickets can also be purchased in North Bay at Lucky 13 (McKeown ave.) in North Bay starting on Thursday.

Costs are:

Adult:  $226.00  

Seniors/Students: $169.50  

Children (under 10): $113.00

The Voodoos will also be selling season ticket packages at their first ever free agent camp which takes place on July 19-20 at Pete Palangio Arena.  

Ice times for the camp are 1-2 p.m. and 8-11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday from 9-11 a.m.
