IROQUOIS FALLS – The Abitibi Eskimos combined for seven unanswered goals in the final two periods as they blasted the North Bay Trappers 8-1 Tuesday evening in Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League action at Jus Jordan Arena.

The second session was all Eskimos as they found the back of the net four times, including three with the man advantage, to take control.

Erik Robichaud notched the game-winner just over a minute into the second with Abitibi notching three more during a five-minute power play on efforts by Robichaud, Ryan Tront and Zach Innes.

The home side then put the game away in the closing frame getting a pair of tallies from Brenden Locke as well as one last one from Robichaud late to finish off a hat-trick.

Robichaud also doled out a pair of assists in the romp for a five-point evening while Jamey Lauzon and Brennen Roy also had a couple of helpers apiece for the winning side.
