Beavers – Thunderbirds NOJHL playoff schedule announced

SUDBURY, Ont. – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League announced Saturday the game schedule for its upcoming West Division semifinal match-up between the Blind River Beavers and the Soo Thunderbirds.

Each contest in the best-of-seven affair features 7 p.m. start times.

Game 1 goes Thursday in Blind River, and the Beavers will also host Game 2 next Saturday.

The series then shifts to the John Rhodes Community Centre, in Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., for the third and fourth contests, which go Monday, March 27 and Wednesday, March 29.

Game 5, if required, will be held in Blind River on Friday, March 31, while the Thunderbirds will serve as the host side in Game 6, should it be necessary, on Saturday, April 1.

The Blind River Community Centre would then be the site of Game 7, if the series goes the distance, on Tuesday, April 4.

Awaiting the winner will be either the Greater Sudbury Cubs or Espanola Paper Kings, who meet in the other West divisional semifinal.
