KIRKLAND LAKE – The Kirkland Lake Gold Miners got three points apiece from Steven Babin, Dylan Rosen and Luc Soares as they rolled over the Blind River Beavers 9-0 Friday night in Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League action at the Joe Mavrinac Community Complex.

The defending NOJHL champs added to their lead in the middle session adding markers from Tyler Romain, Joel Fortin and Babin to go up 5-0 after two periods of play.

They then put the contest away in the final stanza tacking on tallies by Soares, Mick Nisbet, Ethan Strong and Rosen to complete the romp.
