CCHL’s Nationals stay No. 1 in CJHL Top 20 rankings

TORONTO – Holding firm at No. 1 in the latest Canadian Junior Hockey League Top 20 Rankings – Fuelled by Gatorade, are the Rockland Nationals (CCHL).

Playing at a winning percentage pace of .925, Rockland has opened up a 10-point lead in the overall Central Canada Hockey League standings with an impressive record of 18-1-1-0.

Slotted No. 2 in the 118-team CJHL are the Edmundston Blizzard (MHL).

The Blizzard have gone 19-2-1-0 to pace all Maritime Hockey League clubs.

Moving to No. 3 in the listings, which are compiled by an independent scouting service, are the Leamington Flyers (OJHL).

Pacing the Ontario Junior Hockey League with a mark of 22-2-2-1, the surging Flyers are unbeaten in their past 16 contests with 14 victories and two overtimes ties to their credit.

Driving their way up to No. 4 in the rankings are the Steinbach Pistons (MJHL).

Steinbach sits with a 16-2-1-0 record to top the table in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League, having won nine straight, including a 6-0 run so far in November.

Meanwhile, rounding of the Top 5 this week is another soaring OJHL squad, the Trenton Golden Hawks.

Trenton is on a nine-game heater and currently sports an overall record of 20-3-1-0.
