Collège Français de Longueuil (LHJAAAQ) remains No. 1 in CJHL Top 20 Rankings
TORONTO – Back for a second-straight week at No. 1 in the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) Top 20 Rankings – Fuelled by Gatorade, Collège Français de Longueuil (LHJAAAQ) once again holds down highest perch in the listings.
Winners of 12 straight Quebec AAA Junior Hockey League games, Longueuil have only allowed 19 goals-against in that span.
Another team on a double-digit victory run, at 10, are the No. 2 Rockland Nationals (CCHL).
Along with topping the 12-team Central Canada Hockey League table, the Nationals also boast a solid CCHL-best plus-37 goal differential through 10 outings.
Tabbed at No. 3 in the CJHL this week are the Steinbach Pistons (MJHL).
Steinbach sports the best winning percentage in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League at .955 and have yet to suffer a defeat in regulation on the campaign at 10-0-1-0.
Slotted at No. 4 in the rankings, which are compiled by an independent scouting service, is another MJHL squad, the Niverville Nighthawks.
Playing .900 hockey so far this season, the Nighthawks have soared out to 9-1-0-0 record in MJHL action to date.
Wrapping up the Top 5 in the latest listings are the Panthères de St-Jérôme (LHJAAAQ).
St-Jérôme have already won 12 times, against just a pair of setbacks, while notching a LHJAAAQ-high 76 tallies.
