Rockland Nationals (CCHL) still No. 1 entering March in the CJHL Top 20 Rankings – Fuelled by Gatorade
TORONTO – Entering March, the Rockland Nationals (CCHL) remain No. 1 in the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) Top 20 Rankings – Fuelled by Gatorade, announced Monday.
Through their first 50 Central Canada Hockey League contests, the Nationals have been dominant, in sporting an impressive 47-3-0-0 overall record.
Tabbed at No 2 in the listings once again are the Niverville Nighthawks (MJHL).
With five games remaining on their Manitoba Junior Hockey League slate, the Nighthawks take their 46-6-1-0 mark into action this week.
Coming in at No. 3 in the rankings, which are compiled by an independent scouting service, are the Toronto Patriots (OJHL).
The Patriots finished up their campaign at 47-8-0-1 to capture the Ontario Junior Hockey League’s regular season title and will be the top seed heading into their upcoming playoffs.
Slotted in at No. 4 in the 116-team CJHL is Collège Français de Longueuil (LHJAAAQ).
Collège Français has gone 40-6-0-1 in the 13-team Quebec AAA Junior Hockey League and have secured the regular season crown, with their postseason on the horizon.
Wrapping up the Top 5 is another solid MJHL side, the Steinbach Pistons.
Steinbach heads into the final two weeks of competition, prior to the playoffs in Manitoba, having gone 43-8-2-0 to date.
