SUDBURY, Ont. – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League has announced that tonight’s scheduled game between the Cochrane Crunch and Timmins Rock has been postponed due to inclement weather.
With snow and freezing rain hitting the area, it has been deemed highway travel has become, or may become, too treacherous for Timmins to make the trip to Cochrane.
A make-up date for this contest will be announced once it is finalized.
The two teams are now scheduled to commence their 10-game cohort series Friday with an 8 p.m. start at Tim Horton Events Centre and on HockeyTV.com.
