Brandon Janke scored a goal and an assist as the Trappers remain the only unbeaten club in regulation in the NOJHL with a 5-1 win over the Kirkland Lake Gold Miners on Friday night at Memorial Gardens.
Janke’s linemates Samuel Blanchet also added a goal and assist while Corbin Bean added a pair of assists in the win.
Justin Schneeberger, Trevor Hunt and Tait Seguin had the other goals for the Trappers.
Tanner Lafrance spoiled Greg Dodds’ shutout bid with a late power play
goal for the Gold Miners.
The Jr. Trappers improve to 6-0-1-1 on the season. They are back on the ice Sunday at 2 pm when they host the Elliot Lake Bobcats.
