Voodoos slip to 5th; Rock up to 11th in latest CJHL Top 20 Rankings

CALGARY, Alta. The defending national Jr. A champion Brooks Bandits (AJHL) are back on top as the No. 1 ranked club in the Canadian Junior Hockey League Top 20 Rankings, announced Monday.

Brooks continues to roll in the 15-team AJHL, having gone 26-1-1 to date to once again earn the No. 1 nod in the 131-team CJHL in the weekly listings.

Moving up to No. 2 in the rankings across the country, which are compiled by an independent scouting source, is College Français de Longueuil (LHJAAAQ). They are 21-1 in Quebec and have reeled off 15 consecutive victories.

Earning the No. 3 slot in the tabulations are the Sherwood Park Crusaders (AJHL), who sit 24-2 to date and sport six wins in succession.

The Battlefords North Stars (SJHL) remain at No. 4 while the Powassan Voodoos (NOJHL) slip to No. 5.

Rounding out the Top 10 are the Carleton Place Canadians (CCHL); Wellington Dukes (OJHL); Okotoks Oilers (AJHL); Coquitlam Express (BCHL) and the Toronto Patriots (OJHL) at sixth through 10th respectively.
