Wildcats give back to the community

ELLIOT LAKE, Ont. – As a result of last season’s Pink in the Rink campaign, the Elliot Lakes Wildcats of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League raised $5,000, which was donated to the St Joseph’s General Hospital Foundation.

The money was ear-marked for the Chemo Wing of the Hospital to provide comfort and support for patients battling cancer.

As depicted in the photo above, the monies raised was utilized to purchase new chairs and window coverings for the Chemo Wing.

Thank you to the sponsors, fans and supporters for their generous support of this worthy cause.

You make us Proud to be a Wildcats, but even prouder to part of such a loving, caring community.

Go Cats Go!!!
