Espanola announces scouting staff
ESPANOLA – It is with great excitement that the Espanola Junior ‘A’ Hockey Club announces our 2013-14 Scouting Staff.
Each Member of our Scouting team is both experienced and well versed in the game of hockey. We are very lucky to have so many good people join our off ice team.
Head Coach Tom McCarthy commented on the newly appointed scouting staff stating, “No one at this level works harder than our General Manager Randy Blake, his year round efforts paid off for us last season in our successful Championship run where we expect the same work ethic this season. Randy has again surrounded our organization with quality people.” Coach McCarthy added, “The keys to success is to surround yourself with people of integrity that share the same tremendous passion for this great game that we as a group already have, characteristics that our ownership, our General Manager Randy Blake and now our scouting staff will exhibit everyday as we continue to build on our winning formula to be the best that we can be. I am truly fortunate to have the character people with the big hearts that we have surrounding our hockey club in Espanola, we can’t wait to get started”
Club GM Randy Blake added, “I have been lucky to have had the opportunity to work alongside and grow in junior hockey with both Coach McCarthy and Tim. Their passion and tireless work ethic to build a winning junior hockey program each season, both on and off the ice, lead all involved to be the best that we can be while having fun at the same time. We have our biggest test yet ahead of us this season but we all look forward to the challenge. Our assembled scouting staff this season is one of the best at this level. It’s great for our team and the Town of Espanola to have been able to surround ourselves with so many good and knowledgable hockey people. Were ready for the test that lies ahead.”
