Powassan Voodoos soar to No. 1 in CJHL Top 20 Rankings; Timmins Rock tabbed 14th

CALGARY, Alta. – Another week, another new No. 1 team in the Canadian Junior Hockey League Top 20 rankings, announced Monday, as the soaring Powassan Voodoos (NOJHL) move up to lead the national listings in the 131-team CJHL.

Powassan has reeled off 20 straight victories in northern Ontario and sit with a solid 22-1 overall record to presently pace their 12-team league.

Staying at No. 2 in the rankings, which are compiled by an independent scouting source, are the Brooks Bandits (AJHL), who top the 15-team AJHL with an impressive 24-1-1 mark.

Up to No. 3 in the country this week you see College Français de Longueuil (LHJAAAQ) as they too continue to roll, boasting an overall record of 18-1 and a .947 winning percentage.

Slotted No. 4 in the rankings you have the 22-2 Battlefords North Stars (SJHL) while the Sherwood Park Crusaders (AJHL) are 23-2 and come in at No. 5 in the CJHL.

Another AJHL squad, the Okotoks Oilers, come in at No. 6 while the Toronto Patriots (OJHL), Carleton Place Canadians (CCHL), Summerside Western Capitals (MHL) and Wellington Dukes (OJHL) round out the Top 10 at seventh through 10th respectively.
