TIMMINS, Ont. – The Timmins Rock picked up the game-winning goal and an assist from C.J. Bradburn to help lead his side to a 4-1 decision over the Elliot Lake Wildcats Saturday in a Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League match-up in front of 812 fans at McIntyre Arena.
Nick Long struck shorthanded near the 13-minute mark of the first period to give the visitors the lead only to see Timmins counter with tallies from Alexandre Brisson and Bradburn, with the eventual difference maker, to carry a 2-1 lead into the second period.

The home team tacked on one more midway through the third, via the power play, as Stewart Parnell supplied his seventh of the season as he scored for a third straight outing and extended a consecutive game point streak to five along the way.
Tyler Planeta had two assists for the Rock to help them out offensively.
Eric Jackson was called up to make 20 saves in picking up the win for Timmins while Logan Sawka faced 41 shots in defeat for the Wildcats.
