NOJHL action in Noelville Saturday
SUDBURY – The Noelville Arena will be the site of a Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League neutral site encounter Saturday as the Mattawa Blackhawks take on the Blind River Beavers in a 7:30 p.m. start.
With the NOJHL’s regular season less than two weeks away from completion, both sides will look to be at their best as the league playoffs get underway in March.
“It’s always a special moment when we can bring Jr. A hockey to communities in the region such as Noelville,” stated NOJHL Commissioner Robert Mazzuca.
“A game like this is sure to be an enjoyable evening for those in Noelville and the surrounding area in the Municipality of French River, as all the fans in attendance should be in store for a memorable evening,” offered Mazzuca.
“We thank the Mattawa Blackhawks and Blind River Beavers, as well as all those involved, who helped facilitate getting this contest in Noelville organized,” added the NOJHL Commissioner.
A portion of the proceeds from the contest will also go to support Noelville Minor Hockey.
