Elliot Lake signs D-man Chiarelli

ELLIOT LAKE, Ont. — The Elliot Lake Wildcats of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League have added 1994 defenseman David Chiarelli to their roster. The Nepean native split last season between the Nepean Raiders of the Central Canada Hockey League and the Yarmouth Mariners of the Maritime Hockey League.

David is a slick-skating defenseman who will bring experience and excitement to the Wildcats organization.  

Coach Nathan Hewitt is excited to add a player like Chiarelli on the roster.  

“I spent some time coaching against him last year,”stated Hewitt. “He’ll help move pucks up the ice and he’s a huge addition to the power play.”

Chiarelli’s experience includes over 100 games played at the Jr. A and B levels.
