SUDBURY, Ont. – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League announced Tuesday its game schedule for the Copeland Cup – McNamara Trophy Final between the Greater Sudbury Cubs and Powassan Voodoos.
Action in the best-of-seven set gets underway Thursday in a 7:05 p.m. start at Gerry McCrory Countryside Sports Complex in Sudbury.
The Cubs will also host Game 2, which goes Friday, and features another 7:05 p.m. face-off.
From there, the series shifts to the Powassan Sportsplex for the next two match-ups.
Game 3 goes Sunday at 2 p.m., while Game 4 is slated for Monday at 7 p.m.
If necessary, Game 5 will be Thursday, April 25 at Countryside at 7:05 p.m.
Should a sixth contest be required it’ll go Sunday, April 28 in a other 2 p.m. matinee at the Sportsplex.
Game 7, if needed, will be played on Tuesday, April 30, with a 7:05 p.m. puck-drop and Greater Sudbury hosting it at Gerry McCrory Countryside Sports Complex.
All contests in the league final will also be streamed live, and on demand, via FLOHockey.tv.
The NOJHL champion will move on to compete in the Centennial Cup, presented by Tim Hortons, May 9-19, in Oakville, Ont.
