CALGARY, Alta. – Entering the final month of 2019, the Brooks Bandits (AJHL) are slotted in a position they have spent most of the year in, and that’s as the No. 1 ranked club in the Canadian Junior Hockey League.
Brooks has gone 27-1-1 so far this season in Alberta and earn the No. 1 spot in the weekly listings, which are determined through an independent scouting source.
Still riding high in Quebec, College Français de Longueuil (LHJAAAQ) stays No. 2 in the national rankings for another week while sporting a solid 21-1-0-1 mark in the standings.
Another strong AJHL side, in the Sherwood Park Crusaders, hold on to the No. 3 spot this week, having gone 25-2 to date.
The Battlefords North Stars (SJHL) remain at No. 4 and have gone 8-2 as of late while also topping the table in Saskatchewan with a 26-3-1-0 overall record.
Up to No. 5, the Carleton Place Canadians (CCHL) went 10-0-0-1 in November and are 27-3-2-1 so far this season.
Rounding out the CJHL’s Top 10 this week you have the Powassan Voodoos (NOJHL) 6th; Summerside Western Capitals (MHL) 7th; Wellington Dukes (OJHL) 8th; Toronto Patriots (OJHL) 9th and the Okotoks Oilers (AJHL) 10th.
